Reiki healing - What is it?
Reiki is a Japanese form of alternative therapy where practitioners aim to channel energy into an individual
to promote healing and balance in the mind and body. It is based on the concept that energy flow supports the body's natural healing processes and enhances overall well-being, thereby aiding in
stress reduction and relaxation. Practitioners use a technique of laying on hands, allowing an unseen life force present in all living things to facilitate self-healing. Low energy levels may lead to
sickness, stress, and discomfort, while high energy levels are associated with happiness, health, and resilience. Reiki addresses the whole person—mind, body, emotions, and spirit—and can lead to
feelings of peace, relaxation, and well-being. Many have reported remarkable improvements after incorporating Reiki into their lives. It is considered a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual
healing and self-improvement that complements other therapeutic techniques such as Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
